BIOGRAPHY

Before Sandra joined Kennaday Leavitt, she worked for an Alameda County-based local not-for-profit managed care health plan for over 9 years. Most recently, Sandra managed the legal services department directing its legal operations. In this capacity, Sandra oversaw the plan’s legal services including litigation, vendor contracting, corporate governance, and supported the regulatory compliance aspects of the organization including compliance with Department of Managed Health Care and Department of Health Care Services requirements.

Sandra is a graduate of the Golden Gate University School of Law, where she attended the evening program while working full-time. During law school, Sandra received five Witkin awards for highest grade in the class and four CALI awards for second highest grade, was on the Dean’s list during all semesters, and was awarded the Faculty Merit Scholarship during her entire enrollment.

Sandra is a native Spanish speaker.
